Medical Director
I have been a part of First Care Clinic since 2017. My professional experience began with my graduation at the University of Minnesota with my Medical Doctorate in 1997. I then completed my Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics and completed a Cardiology Fellowship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital with Washington University. I am Board-Certified in Internal Medicine as well as Cardiology. Being a physician is a privilege and a lifetime passion. I am grateful every day that I can be helpful to others.
I love figuring out complex problems and finding solutions to make people better. Our patients at First Care Clinic place their trust in us, and I want to ensure we do the best job we can to maintain that trust. I believe it is truly a privilege to be a healthcare provider. There is nothing better than making a difference in someone’s life. Our team here at First Care Clinic take each patients’ healthcare to heart and want to be sure to deliver the best possible care.
When I am not providing care within the clinic, I enjoy scuba diving. It opens a whole new world, and the locations are exceptionally beautiful. I love fishing, hiking, and kayaking – especially in Alaska. I also enjoy golfing with friends. I feel the world is a beautiful place, and I want to see as much of it as possible.
