Nurse Practitioner
I am Kaylie Walker, Nurse Practitioner and Primary Care Provider. I joined the First Care Clinic team as a Registered Nurse in 2018 before continuing my education and earning my Master of Science in Nursing degree to become a Nurse Practitioner in 2025. I am board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). I knew from a very young age that I wanted to help others, and the healthcare field felt like the path where I could make the greatest impact.
As a provider, I love having the ability to care for people from all walks of life. I strongly believe in treating the whole person, not just their symptoms, and empowering my patients through education, support, and advocacy. My goal is always to help patients find the answers they are seeking and to create a space where they feel heard and supported in their healthcare journey.
On a personal level, I am most passionate about being a mother. When I am not at work, you can find me spending time with my husband and our two beautiful children. We enjoy going on walks, playing with bubbles, and drawing with chalk. We also love to grill and enjoy family picnics in our backyard! A hobby I enjoy is decorating and making our house into a home where my children feel safe and loved.
Being a provider is much more than a job to me – it’s a meaningful part of who I am. I feel truly honored to work with such unique individuals every day and to be invited into moments of their lives that require trust and compassion. Each patient I meet teaches me something new and reminds me why I chose this field in the first place.
I strive to make a real difference by creating a space where patients feel heard, supported, and genuinely cared for. Whether I’m helping someone navigate a new diagnosis or celebrating progress alongside them, I want every person to know they’re not alone in their journey. Making that kind of positive impact in someone’s life is what motivates me and reinforces the purpose behind the work I do every day.
