Nurse Practitioner
I joined the First Care Clinic team in 2026. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Fort Hays State University in 2021, and I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). I am most passionate about building lasting relationships with my patients and helping them take an active role in their health. I truly enjoy educating patients, working together to create realistic treatment plans, and focusing on preventative care that can make a meaningful difference in their lives.
I chose healthcare because I have always been drawn to caring for others and wanted a career where I could make a meaningful, lasting impact. I’m passionate about supporting my patients through both everyday health concerns and more vulnerable moments, while maintaining a focus on education and empowerment to help them make informed decisions about their health. Combining clinical knowledge with genuine patient connection is what makes my career so fulfilling.
My time outside the clinic is spent focusing on my family, soaking in quality time with my son. We particularly enjoy being outdoors, working in the garden, and tackling the occasional home improvement project. But I can also be found in the kitchen, baking and trying out new recipes to share with my family.
Being a nurse practitioner is more than a career to me. It’s an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives each day. Caring for patients from all walks of life reminds me that every person has their own unique story. My goal is always to listen with compassion, treat each of them with respect, and get to know them as people – not just treating a medical condition. I’m given the opportunity to build a relationship of trust with my patients by making them feel heard, supported, and confident in managing their health.
